Job Summary

  • Lead and support the development, implementation, and management of global strategies to provide Abiomed’s Supply Chain organization with efficient pricing, flexibility, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Conduct various activities involving planning and procuring parts, components, equipment, and suppliers to ensure continuous and uninterrupted flow of materials to Production, Field Service, and R&D projects.
  • In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.

  • Use MRP to maintain inventory levels
  • Track supply chain disruptions
  • Develop alliances with suppliers
  • Input purchasing data into SAP
  • Resolve invoicing and receiving issues
  • Provide forecasts to suppliers quarterly
  • Mitigate obsolescence risks

Key Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent experience in relevant field
  • 2 or more years of work experience
  • Medical device experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • SAP-MRP experience is helpful
  • Fluent German language skills
  • Good English command required
