Must-have

  • Current California Paramedic or RN licensure
  • Minimum five years EMS clinical experience
  • Minimum three years teaching experience
  • ACLS, AMLS, PALS, and PHTLS certifications
  • Ability to lift up to 125 pounds
  • Experience with simulation and psychomotor skills

Nice-to-have

  • Master's degree in health-related field
  • Instructor-level certification preference
  • Experience with distant education technology
  • Knowledge of EMT and Paramedic program policies
  • Collaborative team environment adherence
  • Background in research and innovation

Key Requirements

  • Current CA Paramedic, PA, or RN licensure
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
  • 5+ years EMS clinical experience
  • 3+ years teaching experience in EMS
  • County of Los Angeles accreditation eligibility
  • Valid BLS, ACLS, AMLS, PALS, PHTLS certs
