Job Summary
The role requires planning, developing, and directing the infection control program in accordance with current rules and regulations.
The incumbent must monitor infection control practices to ensure all personnel implement standard operating procedures for tasks involving exposure to blood or body fluids.
Responsibilities include preparing monthly summaries of resident and personnel infections and submitting reports to the Administrator and Director of Nursing Services.
