Job Summary

  • As a Planning Engineer within ScottishPower Energy Networks Transmission, you will be at the centre of a vibrant and evolving project delivery team, responsible for development and management of project schedules within a portfolio for the multi-billion-pound future investment plan.
  • Using project schedules to identify and communicate inter-dependencies and clashes whilst leading development of innovative programming solutions, you will be required to resolve programming issues in project schedules and co-ordinating inputs from internal and external stakeholders to identify and resolve issues.

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience scheduling, programming and planning large-scale projects
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline or possessing equivalent experience
  • Worked with large-scale, cost and resource loaded schedules within a utility environment
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Adept with planning software tools (MS Project, Primavera (P6), MSPe)
  • Good verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong numerical and analytical abilities
