A Restorative Nursing Aide (RNA) is to provide residents routine restorative nursing care, assisting with exercise to improve or maintain mobility and independence.
Essential duties include assisting residents with transfers, ambulation, range of motion, bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene, while also preventing skin care issues and ensuring residents are free of offensive odors.
The RNA will also complete charting, maintain a positive atmosphere, report significant findings to supervisors, and assist with medical tests, activities, and elimination needs.
