Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of the Ombudsman Elder Rights Specialist is to compile, record and document data related to the Long Term Ombudsman Program, supporting the State Long Term Care Ombudsman.
  • This role is responsible for the oversight and operation of the Long Term Care Ombudsman Program's database (NORS Next), including training new users and troubleshooting system navigation.
  • The position is part of a three-person team that provides daily technical assistance and guidance to the public and regional ombudsmen, and collaborates on compiling the Annual Report.
