  • The Deputy Director provides operational leadership and management to the Fisheries Science, License and Statistics, Fishery Management and Policy sections in establishing and implementing division and program operational goals to allow the division to meet its mission of ensuring sustainable fisheries and habitats for the benefit and health of the people of North Carolina.
