Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • ARRT MRI certification with MA License
  • BLS certification required
  • IV competent for contrast administration
  • 2 years experience as an MRI Technologist
  • Knowledge of GE 1.5 Tesla scanner
  • CPR certified by American Heart Association

Nice-to-have

  • Experience troubleshooting technical problems
  • Ability to reassure claustrophobic patients
  • Participation in hiring and training staff
  • Effective communication with referring physicians

Key Requirements

  • ARRT MRI certification with MA License
  • BLS certification
  • IV competence
  • 2 years MRI Technologist experience
  • GE 1.5 Tesla scanner knowledge
