Job Summary

  • The Oiler is responsible for the maintenance and operation of machinery as directed by the First Engineer.
  • Assists in machinery operation and maintenance as directed by the First Engineer and supports Engine Room operation, maintenance and repairs.
  • Must be familiar with the Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and the SMS, and carry out the policies and procedures applicable for subject position.
