Key Requirements

  • Associate's degree in health information technology
  • Four years related paid work experience
  • Recency requirement of one year within last five years or two years postsecondary teaching experience
  • Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA)
  • Must meet faculty credentialing for Health Information Technology (Field 500164)
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
