Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Valid Arkansas RN license required
  • 12 months acute care hospital experience
  • 6 months direct patient care in past year
  • Ability to work night and weekend shifts
  • Pass pre-screening test with 80% minimum score

Nice-to-have

  • 2 or more years of RN experience
  • Chemotherapy certification for Oncology units
  • Experience with Intensive Care or Surgical Trauma
  • Strong communication and computer skills
  • Willingness to mentor student nurses

Key Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited Nursing Program (ADN, Diploma, BSN, or MSN)
  • Valid RN License issued by State of Arkansas
  • One year patient care experience similar to position
  • Must not be currently employed by UAMS
  • Proof of legal authority to work in United States
