This role involves developing next-generation power electronics and analog circuits to create the ultimate listening experience for Sonos customers.
The successful candidate will lead and mentor junior electrical engineers while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including acoustics, mechanical engineering, and system software.
Regular in-person collaboration is essential, requiring the employee to be based within commuting distance of the Shanghai office and attend at least four days per week.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering
Hands-on experience with analog design
Power converter and amplifier design
Custom magnetics development
EMC and safety compliance knowledge
Schematic and layout file proficiency
Nice-to-have
Experience with audio test equipment
Knowledge of USB-PD or Power over Ethernet
Passion for learning new technical skills
Ability to work across different time zones
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Key Requirements
6+ years industry experience with advanced degree
8+ years direct experience with BS degree
Proficient in English verbal and written communication
Ownership of analog and power electronics design in high volume products
