You will also lead initiatives related to net zero strategies, change programs, and stakeholder engagement to ensure alignment with strategic goals, helping identify opportunities for savings, and implementing improvements to energy consumption.

Key Requirements
Tertiary qualification in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or related field
Professional certification in environmental management or sustainability
Experience with environmental management systems
Familiarity with Defence energy, water, and waste management requirements
Experience leading sustainability initiatives
Experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting
Proven ability to identify and mitigate environmental risks
Proven track record in conducting assessments and audits
Australian Citizen
Able to obtain and maintain Defence Security Clearance
