Job Summary

  • Responsible for performing the installation and maintenance of all electronic and specialty equipment installed in city vehicles and the City of Garland radio communication infrastructure.
  • Conduct the installation and/or removal of mobile public safety equipment, including radios, lights, sirens, GPS systems, and cameras in emergency vehicles.
  • Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and city regulations while providing technical support and training to city personnel.
