Job Summary

  • The Mechanic Apprenticeship is designed to build technical skills in preventative maintenance tasks and gain hands-on experience in corrective repairs of oil & gas mechanical equipment.
  • Apprentices will work closely with a dedicated mentor, complete two assignments across different operational areas to develop a broad understanding of how teams and functions work together to safely deliver production and minimize downtime.
  • This is a temporary 6‑month field-based position providing direct exposure to the Chevron Way Values and the strong safety culture that defines the Shale & Tight Business Unit.

  • Live within 50 miles of the work location
  • Ability to work day/night shifts, weekends, holidays
