The RN Supervisor is primarily responsible for supervising the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during their tour of duty, ensuring the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Essential duties include coordinating and participating in resident care, managing and administering IVs, supervising and instructing nursing staff, responding to medical emergencies, and communicating with physicians, families, and ancillary services.
The role requires a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, a current RN license, CPR certification, and a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a long-term care facility.
