The ideal candidate will possess a Missouri Special Education certification and have experience working with students with intellectual disabilities.

Job Summary
This position works mostly 1:1 with student-patients who have mild to severe intellectual disabilities.
This role regularly collaborates with other hospital schoolteachers on staff, parents/guardians, students’ regular teachers and school personnel, as well as the medical team to meet patients’ educational needs.

Key Requirements
Special Education certification in Missouri
3 years’ experience teaching cross category K-12
Bachelor's degree in education
Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) required within 90 day of employment
