Job Summary

  • This role supports CAE's vision by ensuring training devices remain qualified, available, and ready for every session.
  • You will independently complete Preventive Maintenance Tasks and Daily Readiness checks on flight and cabin crew training devices.
  • The position requires maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities and supporting recurrent data content updates.

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • 2 years flight simulator experience
  • Electronics or Electrical Engineering diploma
  • Preventive Maintenance Tasks (PMTs) execution
  • Daily Readiness (DR) system checks
  • First-line troubleshooting skills
  • Aircraft systems knowledge (motion, visual, avionics)
  • Microsoft Office proficiency

Nice-to-have

  • Customer-focused relationship building
  • Minor software change capabilities
  • Knowledge of EASA and UAE DGCA regulations
  • Experience with Nav DB and OIS updates
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Logistics and inventory management experience

Key Requirements

  • Technical College Diploma or Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Aviation
  • At least 2 years' experience working with flight simulators
  • Solid technical capability in hardware and software systems
  • Working knowledge of commercial jetliners and aviation terminology
  • Good understanding of local and international FSTD regulations
