About the RoleOur client is looking for a hands-on Credit Manager to support their trade finance and receivables financing business. This role focuses on reviewing deal structures, assessing transaction risks, and working closely with business teams on live deal flow in a fast-paced environment. Key ResponsibilitiesReview and assess trade finance transactions, including receivables financing, factoring, and working capital structures, with a focus on transaction-level risk. Evaluate counterparties and underlying trade flows by analysing invoices, supporting documents, and deal structures to form independent credit views. Work closely with business and operations teams on live deal flow, providing practical risk input to support timely deal execution. Prepare or review credit assessments and provide clear recommendations on risk, structure, and mitigants. Monitor portfolio exposures and identify early warning signals, taking timely action where required. Stay involved post-disbursement, including tracking performance of transactions and supporting recovery discussions where necessary. RequirementsAround 6 to 10 years of experience in credit, trade finance, or receivables-based financing roles. Hands-on experience reviewing trade transactions, including invoices, receivables, or structured trade facilities. Strong understanding of trade finance products such as factoring, receivables financing, and Letters of Credit. Comfortable working at a transaction level and making credit decisions in a fast-paced environment. Experience working with business teams on deal flow, rather than operating purely in a policy or review capacity. Stable career track record, with consistent tenure in prior roles preferred. Must have experience making credit decisions or approving trade / receivables transactions, not limited to operations or documentation support.
