Job Summary

  • Liaise with the Area Manager to ensure Production and Quality Targets are met in accordance with the Production Plan and Product Specifications.
  • Lead and champion Lean Sigma programs and activities, whilst supporting the Management Team to meet delivery and cost objectives.
  • Support the business in meeting all quality, delivery and cost objectives by actively resolving reported issues, problems or irregularities.

Salary

Key Requirements

  • Formal engineering apprenticeship to NVQ3 level/City and Guilds or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Extensive experience in setting, programming & operation of CNC equipment
  • Extensive experience of use of measuring equipment
  • Extensive experience of interpreting Engineering drawings
  • Experience in conventional toolroom machinery
