Job Summary
This position maintains the total HVAC-R equipment throughout Ochsner Health System facilities by troubleshooting and repairing various air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
The role requires performing preventive maintenance, documenting measures, and servicing rooftop units, split DX systems, and Liebert air conditioning units using specialized tools.
Personnel may be assigned to remain onsite during severe weather emergencies or disasters to ensure continuous facility operations.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC-R equipment
Perform preventive maintenance on AC systems
Interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics
Use specialized test equipment and hand tools
Work flexible schedules including nights and weekends

Key Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
2 years job related experience
EPA certification required within 6 months
Class A air condition and refrigeration license preferred
