Key Requirements

  • Relevant qualification in Project Management/engineering or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in project and construction management (projects > £5m)
  • Broad knowledge of construction and design process, including safety
  • Good knowledge of Health and Safety legislation (CDM Regulations)
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary projects
  • Ability to manage diverse teams
  • Excellent communication and IT skills
  • Ability to write high-quality reports and interrogate financial information
  • Commercial awareness
  • Full current driving licence
  • Willingness to travel around islands and to UK
  • Awareness of NEC contracts and procurement methods
  • Understanding of UK public sector procurement
