  • The Lead Access Specialist works with students, staff, and faculty to improve campus accessibility with the goal of ensuring that students with disabilities have full access to their university experience.
  • Evaluates disability documentation and conducts student interviews to determine eligibility for services; collaborates with students, faculty, and staff to implement accommodations; counsels and advises students regarding academic progress, accommodations.
  • Supervises, mentors and trains Access Specialist team members; may supervise student employees; assists with staff selection and on-boarding; conducts and oversees application processing and documentation review processes.
