Job Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by Certified Nursing Assistants.
The LVN ensures care is delivered in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, facility policies, and direction from the Director of Nursing or Nurse Supervisor.
Responsibilities include preparing and administering medications as ordered, performing skilled nursing procedures such as wound care and catheterization, and maintaining accurate daily census reports.
