  • The Farm Associate I, has primary responsibility for the animal care and welfare of the birds within the facility.

Must-have

  • Gather and grade eggs
  • Maintain poultry house conditions
  • Monitor flock health and mortality
  • Handle live poultry
  • Work with chemicals
  • Work in extreme temperatures
  • Work in dusty, damp, wet environments

Nice-to-have

  • Animal husbandry experience preferred
  • Follow bio-security policies
  • Work with day old baby chicks

Key Requirements

  • Ability to understand oral and written instructions
  • Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills
  • Ability to perform repetitive work
  • Ability to stand for 8 hrs or more
  • Ability to lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 lbs
  • Bend and stoop repetitively
