Job Summary
The Compensation Expert is responsible for leading and supporting the implementation, communication and administration of Magna Powertrain’s pay structures, merit processes and incentive programs in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
Conduct analysis, interpret results, and makes recommendations that support the maintenance of competitive pay structures designed to attract, retain, motivate, and reward talent in accordance with Magna’s Employee Charter principles.
Partners with North America HR Teams to ensure compensation programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as organizational governance standards.

Key Requirements
Bachelors Degree in HR, Finance, Business or related field
5+ years of HR experience
3+ years focused in compensation
Understanding of compensation practices in US, Canada, Mexico
Advanced Excel skills
Proficiency with Workday or similar HRIS
Experience with salary administration and market pricing
