  • As the Laboratory Technician 1, you will play a key role in the Sample Receiving section of the Washington Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory (WADDL), supporting daily laboratory operations under general supervision.

  • Hand-Off Communication Standards familiarity
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Key Requirements

  • Completion of ASCP approved course or two years lab experience
  • Training or education in medical technology or laboratory sciences
  • Physical eligibility for BSL-2 environment
  • Ability to rotate Saturdays and holidays
  • Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain by hire
  • Not eligible for work visa sponsorship
