Job Summary

  • The pharmacy student (intern) assists pharmacists to provide pharmacy services including the evaluation and input of licensed independent practitioner orders/prescriptions, and the technical functions of drug procurement, preparation, and distribution.
  • An Intern at this level is expected to serve as a leader and mentor for other pharmacy Interns and technicians and will cover shifts that could include days, weekends, and holidays generally from 0700-2200.

Key Requirements

  • Current state Pharmacy Intern license
  • Enrollment in accredited College of Pharmacy
  • Fourth year pharmacy student or equivalent competency
