Must-have

  • Design electrical harnesses for power, RF, communication
  • Select harness components and hardware
  • Apply EMI/RFI and harness shielding
  • Utilize Creo Cabling and RSD
  • Create harness detail and installation drawings
  • Design harness support brackets
  • Support hardware installation and testing

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with Pro/E Piping
  • Knowledge of harness fabrication processes
  • Experience with launch vehicle systems

Key Requirements

  • B.S. degree or higher in Mechanical or engineering field
  • 7+ years of experience designing Wire Harnesses
  • Experience with Creo, Windchill, and RSD
  • Understanding of wire derating analysis
  • Familiar with IPC/WHMA-A-620A, NASA-STD-8739.4
  • Strong electrical/mechanical design skills using 3-D CAD
