Key Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • MA Class A Large capacity firearm license
  • 1-3 years related work experience
  • Graduate of Full-Time MA State Police Academy or equivalent
  • At least 21 years old
  • Special State Police Officer eligibility per M.G.L. ch.22 s. 63
  • Massachusetts Driver's License
  • Pass background check, psychological exam, drug test, and medical exam
