Job Summary

  • The primary responsibility is to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during your tour of duty while ensuring the highest degree of quality care is maintained.
  • You will participate in developing, maintaining, and updating written policies and procedures that govern the day-to-day functions of the nursing service department.
  • This role requires ensuring all nursing service personnel comply with established procedures, job descriptions, and safety regulations including infection control and hazardous material handling.

Key Requirements

  • Current unencumbered active RN license in this state
  • Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university
  • 2 years or more experience preferably in long-term care
  • Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices
  • Current CPR certification
  • Knowledge and experience with PCC preferred
  • Maintain good standing with State Board of Nursing
