Job Summary

• Assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the day to day functions of the nursing service department in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of written policies, quality assurance programs, and resident care plans to ensure high standards of nursing care.
• Perform supervisory duties including making rounds, reviewing nursing notes, authorizing use of restraints, and ensuring compliance with nursing standards while providing health education to patients and families.
