Job Summary

  • Assist the Director of Nursing Services in directing the day to day functions of the nursing activities in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long term care facility.
  • Participate in developing, maintaining, and updating written policies and procedures that govern the day to day functions of the nursing service department.
  • Ensure that all nursing service personnel comply with established policies, procedures, safety regulations, and infection control standards to provide quality care to residents.

Key Requirements

  • Nursing Degree from accredited college
  • Minimum 2 years long term care experience
  • Current active RN license
  • Current CPR certification
  • Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing
  • Knowledge of PCC preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
