  • Software Engineer Interns work collaboratively with Software Engineers to pursue a broad range of initiatives, helping to produce ground-breaking Middleware technologies and support multiple solutions spanning our consumer banking applications.
  • In this 10-week program, interns will gain a strong understanding of Software Engineer at Citizens, providing mentorship, exposure to senior leadership, and participation in professional development workshops and social activities.
  • High-performing interns may be extended an offer to return as a Full-time colleague in our Enterprise Technology & Security Development Program (ETSDP) upon graduation.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or other technology-related degree
  • Expected graduation date of May 2027
  • Minimum GPA 3.0
  • Solid understanding of Java, JavaScript, C, Python, .Net, Node, SQL
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a team environment
