Job Summary
Participates, observes and/or acts as a resource to staff for patient related clinical problems, medical alerts, admissions, transfers, and clinical monitoring of unstable patients.
Acts as a patient advocate by responding and intervening in patient and visitor concerns, performing service recovery, as needed, and initiates investigation of patient safety events and medication errors.
Collaborates with management and human resources staff to address matters of a disciplinary nature, and ensures compliance with standards and requirements of regulatory agencies.
