Job Summary
Under a physician's medical direction, Polysomnographic Technologist prepares patients for all-night polysomnographic recordings and multiple sleep latency tests and maintenance of wakefulness tests during the day.
The Sleep Laboratory encompasses all technical functions within the Sleep Disorders Center and is the diagnostic area of the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care.
The laboratory is staffed 7 nights per week, Sunday through Saturday, and evaluates patients aged 18+ and geriatric 65+.
