This role involves assisting pathologists and residents with technical aspects of autopsy procedures, processing autopsy specimens, and operating pathology-specific information systems for case and specimen tracking.
Responsibilities include daily morgue operations such as receipt, identification, storage, and release of decedents, as well as transferring specimens and ensuring proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
