Job Summary
Performs technical reviews of fire and life safety plans, architectural and engineering plans, specifications, shop drawings, and related documentation to ensure compliance with applicable statutes, regulations, and adopted codes for the State of Oklahoma.
Conducts technical reviews of architectural, engineering, and fire protection system plans for compliance with State Fire Marshal regulations, the International Fire Code (IFC), International Building Code (IBC), International Existing Building Code (IEBC), and relevant National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards.
Provides technical guidance to architects, engineers, contractors, and public/state agencies, and may assist inspection staff with field inspections and complex construction projects.
