Responsibilities include identifying and assigning beds, monitoring hospital census in Epic, participating in daily meetings to assess occupancy needs, and working with patient care units to expedite admissions and discharges.
The role also involves responding to patient/family requests for special bed needs, handling emergency situations, facilitating outside hospital transfers, and creating death certificates.
