Job Summary

  • The Budget Director leads the Budget and Financial Planning and Analysis section and is responsible for the development and execution of NCDOT’s nearly $10 billion budget covering multiple transportation divisions.
  • The position advises the CFO, Controller, senior and executive leaders, and may also advise state elected leadership on spending trends and forecasts.
  • The Budget Director plays a key role in communicating with the North Carolina Board of Transportation, including formal presentations and informal interactions.
