Job Summary

• The Aviation Safety Specialist will support the Boeing Safety, Security, and Airworthiness (SS&A) organization serving as a trusted technical and strategic advisor working on numerous initiatives aimed at advancing Boeing’s safety leadership in Latin America and Caribbean.
• The selected candidate for this role will spend most of their time directly interacting with airline safety departments, requiring deep airline operational expertise, healthy relationships with regulators and airline safety departments, and strong analytical skills.
• The individual selected for this role will lead cross-functional safety initiatives across a complex regional environment and maintain trusted, high-impact relationships with senior ICAO regional offices and State regulators.

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Chemistry, or Physics
• Fluent English
• Proficient Spanish
• Customer-facing executive engagement experience
• Knowledge of Brazil Civil Aviation Regulatory framework
• Knowledge of ICAO Global Aviation Safety Plan
• Airline Safety Management System implementation experience
• Experience with FOQA/FDM tools
• Experience in airline flight operations, engineering & maintenance, or ground operations safety
