This position provides advanced network design, research, implementation, and escalation support across the optical, switched, and routed layers of the MAX network.
The role requires hands-on maintenance of DWDM optical systems, dark fiber, routers, switches, and physical plant while ensuring reliable connectivity.
Successful candidates will assist in modernizing a robust, scalable, and sustainable systems architecture framework within the University of Maryland's Division of Information Technology.
