  • A Medical Information Management Student Intern serves in a variety of functional areas within the department in addition to assisting with special projects as assigned by the respective manager.
  • Analyzes and reviews medical records for inpatients, outpatients and procedure areas after patient discharge to evaluate compliance with CMS documentation requirements.
  • Assists with data collection and summaries for reporting purposes, researches medical record topics related to forms management and documentation requirements, and reconciles spreadsheets for forms management.
