The New Hanover Juvenile Detention Center is seeking a Detention Teacher to provide core academic instruction to at-risk youth in a structured environment. Job Summary

  • This position is a 12 month position within New Hanover Juvenile Detention Center teaching core academic courses to small groups of students in grades 6-12.
  • The work unit is part of the New Hanover Juvenile Detention Center which operates under the North Carolina Department of Public Safety, Division of Juvenile Justice.
