Legends Global is seeking an Engineer 1 to maintain and operate facility equipment at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience in HVAC and facility maintenance, possess strong technical skills, and demonstrate a commitment to safety and teamwork

Job Summary

  • The Engineer I maintains all facility equipment in good working condition, including HVAC, plumbing and electrical plants, lighting and climate control systems, roofing systems, ground support equipment, and maintenance equipment.
  • Essential duties include inspecting buildings and equipment for unsafe conditions, performing general repairs, assisting with plumbing systems, and working on preventative maintenance and energy conservation.
  • The role requires the ability to respond to visual and audible alarms, make immediate decisions in emergencies, and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Key Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Technical school training in HVAC/maintenance
  • 3 years HVAC maintenance experience preferred
  • 3 years public assembly facility experience
  • EPA universal/small appliance certification preferred
  • Forklift and aerial lift experience preferred
  • OSHA Forklift and Personnel Lift certifications
