Job Summary
Performs a variety of skilled carpentry work in residential and/or light commercial construction, maintenance, alternation or rehabilitation and repair activities in assigned projects.
Studies specifications in blueprints, sketches, diagrams, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions, time, equipment, and materials required for a job.
Provides on-the-job training for maintenance personnel and/or local apprentices in general skills of the carpentry trade.
