Job Summary
The Meat and Poultry Inspection Division enforces State and Federal laws to ensure meat and poultry products are wholesome, unadulterated, and properly labeled.
Successful applicants will complete extensive training including 6 weeks on-the-job and 6 weeks classroom training, with follow-up sessions as needed.
This position includes a sign-on bonus of $2,500 for eligible applicants and requires onsite presence during operational hours with occasional holiday, weekend, and overtime work.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and one year related experience or GED and five years related experience
Successful completion of Meat and Poultry Inspection Training Programs
Valid driver’s license by date of employment
Accurate color vision

Proficiency in English language
Ability to work with live animals and meat products
