Job Summary
The role involves utilizing fundamental engineering strategies to design and validate new trailer products within a global industrial organization backed by Berkshire Hathaway.
Candidates will work closely with Sales, Operations, Design, and Supply Chain teams to document, source, and build both clean sheet trailer designs and components.
The position requires analyzing, modeling, and drafting new components using Siemens NX and ANSYS while building and testing physical samples.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Siemens NX and ANSYS software proficiency
Mechanical engineering strength of materials
Experience with NHTSA DOT FMVSS SAE standards
5 years experience in trailer or heavy equipment
Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen continuous improvement
Nice-to-have
Strong program management experience
Self-motivated with high level of self-initiative
Ability to guide fellow engineering talent
Leadership responsibility for design teams
Direct interaction with key vendors and customers
Key Requirements
