The primary purpose of the Activity Assistant is to assist the Activity Director run a creative and interactive activities program that meets the physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of each resident.
The role involves planning and conducting individual, small and large group activities, maintaining communication between employees, residents, families, and other stakeholders, and assisting in discharge and care plan activities.
The work environment is usually low to moderate noise level with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
