Key Requirements
Two years experience in fire investigation/prevention plus three additional years as an agent in the Oklahoma State Fire Marshal’s Office
Two years professional criminal investigation experience plus three additional years as an agent in the Oklahoma State Fire Marshal’s Office
30 semester hours from accredited college (including 6 in fire protection/prevention) for each year of experience plus three additional years as an agent
CLEET certification required and must be maintained
Proficiency with building and fire codes
Ability to travel frequently and be available 24/7
Must pass background investigation, polygraph, drug screen, and psychological evaluation
